Nancy Drew 1
I had an outfit almost exactly like this one when I was a teenager. It was my go-to outfit for snooping around the neighborhood solving pretend mysteries.
The basic formula for a day-time outfit that Nancy would approve of is:
1 ladylike skirt- just below the knee, sits at natural waist, muted color
1 ladylike blouse- no low necklines, muted color
1 slim fitting cardigan
nylons- of course they're necessary, you hooligan
practical pumps in a color that matches either the cardigan or the blouse
Following that formula, the possibilities for a ladylike outfit are endless!
